Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor and model who is primarily involved in Indian films. In 2006, her Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also taken by her. Fernandez, who is of Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial ancestry she spent her entire growing up in Bahrain. She earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from the University of Sydney and worked as a journalist for the TV in Sri Lanka for a considerable time prior to entering the modeling industry. In 2006 she made her debut as Miss Universe and became one the most popular models in Sri Lanka. As of 2009, on her professional trip to India she was offered the part as Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Aladin'. Her breakthrough role came about in the year 2011, when she was cast as the female lead Priya in the film 'Murder 2'. The actress' career took off after the film became a critically and commercial success. Fernandez has been featured in films like Housefull 2 and 3, "Race 2," "Definition of Fear', and "Judwaa 2".
