Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and her were among the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. She was born on July 23, 1971. She began her career in the industry at an early age competing in local contests before the age of 10, and recording her first album at 14. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and released her first single album, a solo one in the year 1987. In 1989, she was invited to join Alison Krauss & Union Station who she is a part of.
