Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her work is primarily in Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam and Tamil debut. The actress made her debut in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in the same Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor in the Madras High Court. She is the younger sister of a researcher assistant from Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started the classical piano at eighteen, was called being a "geek" and aspired to become a psychiatrist until her 12th grade board exam. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she joined at the age of 10 was the foundation to sing and compose music. She performed as performer in the college, in a variety of performances hosted by The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was the President of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. The role she played in 2006's Leo Coffee commercial was in the role of Shiva. She also acted in a TV serial that aired on Podhigai. She has appeared in all parts of India. She had a short part in the final scene in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham is a character in the film. Menon contacted her following the fact that she had performed in the Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu film to be featured as a lead character on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani as a wife and mother to a man who has an affair. Andrea was chosen to play the character following the actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were approached. The film premiered at the start of 2010. Her minor role was accepted in the film of Venkat Mankatha in the year 2011, in which she starred alongside a variety of actors. In 2013 she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema by playing Rajeeev Ravi's romance movie, Annayum Rasoolum.
