Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is half English as well as Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, and the family relocated into Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English as she wanted to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16 she left college and began pursuing a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy always wished to become an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to be a model.
